Because I was homeschooled and not even allowed to touch makeup until my Jr. year of highschool, I struggle with "my look." Or maybe I'm just style-retarded. And I blame my homeschooling for it... Maybe its because I was still doing college girl sweats and tanks to school when I got pregnant with my first son. Because sweats and tanks are hot when you've been up late partying. And the boys like that look when they've been out partying with you. But when your sweats and tanks are covered in baby vomit and you actually haven't showered in five days, or when they're from Walmart and not VS's.... the look is less flattering. But I digress. I'm in a style quandry. I've been working out a lot and am starting to finally feel like I might someday fit in clothes that I actually like. I'm holding off on buying anything for at least one more pants size. But at that point, what do I buy? I love the quirky style of fellow-former-homeschooler Promise Tangeman. But I have kids. And I'm not 5 ft tall. And I don't have her hair, though I wish I did. So I don't think I could pull it off. Plus all of our thrift stores are full of old Levi's and cowboy boots with fresh poop still on 'em. I can't find anything so cute and vintage here. I love the laid back t-shirts and jeans thing. But sometimes I have to go to meetings and I don't know if that will fly? Are t-shirts grown up? And I love the jackets with slacks and heels thing too. There's a part of me that wants to look professional. But that's not really me either. I have a pants size to go. Then, when its time to buy a new wardrobe, I might be hiring a stylist. I need some major help, yo. And probably not just cause I was homeschooled. Add as favourites (0) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 3193
